Over the years Artist friends of mine have commissioned me to document their work or collaborate in creating photographic images as artworks in their own right.

This commission for the BRMI came about when a senior member of that institute Prof. Max Bennet came across me on a deserted street in Camperdown. He felt compelled to talk to me because I was photographing some old buildings with an 8x10 camera- which must have been an odd scene. He subsequently commissioned me to photograph an old pub, come warehouse, come parking lot, the structure of which was about to be assimilated into a new building for the BRMI.
